“It’s an evening of networking featuring dynamic performances,” said Phipps’ Carley Adams. Wigle Whiskey provided the libations and Cafe Phipps the food for the Thursday soiree, which gave everyone a chance to explore the gardens inside and out. Featured guest Quantum Theatre performed a scene from “Peribañez” on the Green Roof Patio, taking advantage of the lovely summer evening. “Peribañez” will be performed at the Rose Garden in Mellon Park August 5-28. For tickets go to quantumtheatre.com.
Among those enjoying the performance and the plants were Phipps’ Mary DeMars; Quantum’s managing director Stevie Sheridan (my daughter-in-law); and PUMP’s Annie Clough, as well as Randy Jewart of Austin, Texas, with Monica Asemcio and his parents Elaine and Thomas Jewart. Also among the crowd were Kirsten Shriver and Anthony Kane, Lora Burke, Catherine Bender, Caitlin O’Connor with Brenton Galbraith, Howard and Lisa Aupke and Cathryn Hanovice.
This year’s last Glasshouse Happy Hour will be held in September.”
