Near Buy logo: Supporting Local commerce

Quantum Theatre has long been thankful for the privilege of guiding our patrons, friends, and family on explorations of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods. We are thrilled to announce the Near Buy initiative, generously funded by the Richard King Mellon Foundation, a year-long opportunity for you to continue exploring our city while supporting local businesses.

We’ll partner with 15 businesses over the coming year in communities hosting upcoming shows: Downtown, Homewood, and Point Breeze. Working in partnership with organizations including Homewood Children’s Village and Team PSBG, every dollar you spend will be matched as a gift card distributed to families experiencing food insecurity. Over $7,500 has been matched to-date.
