Ariel Cianfarano earned her B.S. in journalism and a minor in English at Northern Arizona University. Ariel has extensive experience working for publications as an editor and writer for arts & culture events and long-form feature stories. She has worked for The Lumberjack, FlagLive!, and was on an advising committee for the Arizona Daily Sun. There she honed her skills in writing, editing, graphic design, social media management, and eventually, worked her way to leadership roles like Director of Digital Content and Managing Director with The Lumberjack.
As many of her family members live in and around Pittsburgh, Ariel is happy to make Pittsburgh her home and jump right into the theatre community with Quantum Theatre as the Marketing and Communications Assistant. As an avid reader and lover of storytelling (in any medium), Ariel recognizes the importance of amplifying voices through art and connecting audiences through common themes that can speak to the individual and the collective whole.
