The VehiQle
The van that moves the theater that moves you
On Friday, May 30, the Quantum Theatre van took its last ride. After losing power on the Highland Park Bridge, we said our goodbyes and it was towed away.
Our faithful VehiQle is crucial to our work – it’s the workhorse behind the theatre that moves you!
The 18-year-old van moved the theatre that moves you from:
- Carrie Blast Furnace to Frick Park Lawn Bowling Greens to West Homestead United Methodist Church
- Actors’ homes and outdoor spaces in Covid …
- Bakery Square to The Maverick to Westinghouse Park to Schenley Park Ice Skating Rink …
- OneValley at the Roundhouse to the Byham to the Frick Building …
- Abiding Missions to Rodef Shalom to Carrie Blast Furnaces …
- Longue Vue Country Club to the Union Trust Building to Braddock Carnegie Library
The beloved van carried Ophelia’s casket, Josie’s nightstand, the pulpit from Scenes from an Execution, mannequins made to look like armed guards over the Hamlet set and more!
To keep us moving, we are asking for your support to purchase a ‘new’ van that can take us from Chatham University to One Oxford Centre to the Mellon Institute … and wherever we can go next.
Help us raise $10,000 by June 30 by making your contribution today.
