General Description:

Quantum Theatre seeks an innovative, detail-oriented database expert to support its marketing, donor relations, and ticketing functions.  The position reports to Quantum’s Executive Director. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Salesforce.  The position will build and run reports in Patron Manager (the agency’s primary database, on the Salesforce platform), assist with analyzing results, generate communications to donors and contacts, ensure records are thorough and accurate, build out ticket and subscription sales functions, manage and track ticket sales, and generally maximize organizational use of Patron Manager and its content.  Ticket sales and customer service will center around Quantum’s three annual productions, and an annual special event, the Q Ball.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Ticketing Support
    • Support the marketing functions of the organization by maintaining accurate patron information, running reports, and sending invitations to and announcements about shows and events.
    • Track ticket and subscription sales and effectiveness of campaigns to increase earned revenue.
    • Develop strategies to allow staff and board members to easily and accurately add contacts to the database.
    • Build and manage ticket sales functions, including providing excellent customer service when ticketing issues arise. 
  • Donor Relations Support
    • Support the fundraising efforts of the organization by maintaining accurate donor and prospective donor information, building and running reports to identify trends and opportunities and assess progress towards goals.
    • Track funder gifts, reports, proposal attachments, and deadlines. Generate data to support reports and proposals as needed.
    • Generate communications to acknowledge, solicit and thank donors.
  • Office Support
  • Participate with the entire staff team to answer phone calls, respond to patron requests, support office management, and other tasks as assigned for no more than 15 percent of time allocation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep knowledge of and comfort with Salesforce, ideally with Patron Manager
  • Willingness to learn, innovate and solve problems in a customer-friendly manner

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Detail oriented and able to balance multiple tasks and deadlines; time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify and analyze opportunities, and follow-through with organized, concise, and timely communications.
  • Values a team-based workplace and able to foster a positive working environment that encourages and supports team contributions.
  • Familiarity with email tools, such as Emma and MailChimp a plus
