Merchant on Venice

A staged reading of this very free adaptation, even appropriation (to quote critic Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune) of Shakespeare, set in contemporary LA in the South Asian community of Culver City. An exclusive subscriber benefit. Merchant on Venice will be presented in association with the University of Pittsburgh, as part of a series of theatrical events examining the South Asian diaspora.

Preferred seating. Quantum offers the best seats to subscribers. You're the folks who know and love Quantum enough to show up early to get a good seat. You should be rewarded. Be there 15 minutes before curtain, and a subscriber seat will be waiting.

Site tour for the production of your choice. We’ve called this a backstage tour, but there are times when we don’t have a stage, let alone a "backstage." Instead, let's call this an intimate trip through the place we're currently calling home; a guided tour through the site-specific process, a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and crazy challenges of the plays.

Ticket exchange. Babysitter bail on you? Quantum makes it easy to reschedule, a benefit only for subscribers. Just call before your previously-selected show date.

Please note: Ticket prices vary according to subscription plans and performance dates. If you exchange into a higher-priced performance, you will be charged the appropriate difference in price. There are, however, no refunds for moving into a lower-priced performance.
